Elliot Scheiner is one of the most successful producer/engineers in music today. Over the past 30 years, Scheiner has collaborated with everyone from Van Morrison to Steely Dan, winning multiple Grammy awards along the way. He started as Phil Ramone's assistant at A&R Recording in New York City and quickly advanced to engineer. By 1973 he had begun to freelance as an engineer and producer, becoming the first person ever to work as a freelance engineer for other artists. He continues to be one of the most sought-after producers and engineers in the industry, and is one of the world's leading authorities on 5.1 Surround Sound mixing and DVD Audio.
With AMD64 technology as his Digital Audio Workstation platform of choice, Scheiner stays on the cutting edge of recording. Using AMD64 technology to work with discrete, uncompressed channels of DVD audio, Scheiner can translate the artist's creative vision into something that transcends the traditional world of two-channel recordings.
